WHITEHORSE – Yukon Party Official Opposition Chief of Staff Ted Laking will be stepping back from his position at the end of 2021. Laking held this position since November 2016.

“I would like to thank Ted for his years of service in this role,” said Currie Dixon, Leader of the Official Opposition. “Ted was invaluable behind the scenes, as the Yukon Party in the capacity of Official Opposition, held the government to account on a variety of issues. I know he will serve Whitehorse residents well as a city councillor.”

The Official Opposition will begin a search for a new Chief of Staff in the coming weeks.
