Bellmore was first elected as the MLA for Mayo‑Tatchun in the 2025 general election. She was appointed as Minister of Community Services and Minister responsible for the Yukon Lottery Commission on November 22, 2025.

Bellmore is a lifelong Yukoner and citizen of the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation. Growing up in a close‑knit community shaped her commitment to public service, rural representation and advocating for the voices of northern and remote regions.

Bellmore holds a commerce degree, earned in 2001 from the University of Calgary. Before entering territorial politics, Bellmore worked in municipal and First Nations government. She served as the Director of Finance and Administration with the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation, and as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Village of Carmack and Dawson City.

She also served two terms as a Carmacks village councillor and contributed to local education governance as a former member of the Tantalus School Council. Her work reflects a long-standing commitment to strengthening rural communities and addressing the unique challenges faced by northern regions.

Bellmore lives in Carmacks with her family and is a married mother of three. She values the opportunity to raise her children immersed in traditional culture, strong community relationships and the natural environment of the central Yukon.
