Statement from leader Currie Dixon on the results of the Nova Scotia election

“I would like to extend my congratulations to the premier-elect of Nova Scotia Tim Houston on his election victory.

“The perseverance of the Nova Scotia Progressive Conservative Party shone through during the campaign and paid off at the ballot box with a majority government.

“He ignored the pundits and pollsters who had the PCs 28 points back just before the election call. Houston and his party proved the only poll that matters is on Election Day.

“His pledge to address healthcare, and to serve all people is something that resonates with me and all Yukon Party MLAs.

“Best wishes and good luck as the new premier and his team transition to government.”
